Deus Deorum Games Project
2016-2017, University of Bristol

For a year I worked on a VR/Kinect Unity game called 'Deus Deorum'. The premise was a room-scale tower defence game in which the player could interact with the 3D virtual world without a controller. I focused primarily on the tracking technology, building a layer upon the Kinect drivers to accurately track and smooth the player's hands so thaey could place buildings and attack enemies without a controller. I see a lot of potential in the tracking we used, and will seperate the tracking into a seperate project in the coming weeks.

Realtime Raytracer and Rasteriser
2017, University of Bristol

In my 3rd year of University I created a raytracer in C++, using SDL to display pixels. My raytracer includes global illumination through 'path tracing', as well as:

OpenCL based hardware GI
Soft lighting with sphere light
AntiAliasing
Mirror surfaces
BVH acceleration structure
I also created a Rasteriser which includes many of the features of the raytracer, as well as:
Phong/Diffuse Shading
Normal Mapping
Shadow Mapping

Worked in a medium sized team maintaining and updating legacy products, and producing new HA web services with Java with a strong focus on Test-driven development.

Cotswold Water Park App
2015-2016, University of Bristol

Worked in a team to create a cross-platform app for a water park, including an interactive map, trip planning tools like events and favourites as well as bird watching features. The app is Angular/Ionic based, and adheres to material design. A beta version for android is available from the link below:
